Payment Collection Policy
Collection Policy: At Personalized Pet Sitting, we prioritize transparent and timely payment collection to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for both our clients and our team. To facilitate this process, we have established the following payment collection protocol:
- Step 1: Payment Before Pick-Up/Last Day of Service: Payment for our services should be received in full before the scheduled pick-up date or the last day of service. This ensures that all financial matters are settled before the conclusion of your pet’s stay.
- Step 2: Payment Reminder: If payment is not received by the specified deadline, we will send a notification through text once a day for a maximum of three days to remind you of the outstanding balance.
- Step 3: Personalized Reminder: In the event that payment remains outstanding after the three-day reminder period, we will take additional steps to collect payment. This may include dropping off a card and a bag of treats at your home, accompanied by a polite reminder of the unpaid balance. We hope this gesture serves as a gentle reminder to settle the payment promptly.
- Step 4: Final Notice of Non-Payment: If payment is still not received after the previous steps have been taken, we will issue a final notice of non-payment. This notice will declare the termination of the client relationship for future stays and the refusal of service for any future bookings until the outstanding balance is settled.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are always willing to discuss payment arrangements or address any concerns you may have regarding your invoice. However, consistent non-payment or failure to communicate regarding outstanding balances may result in the termination of our services. We appreciate your cooperation and adherence to our payment collection policy, which allows us to continue providing exceptional care to your beloved pets.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, but as a small business, our scheduling relies on commitments from our clients. Therefore, any cancellations made within 24 hours prior to the scheduled stay will incur a flat fee equal to 50% of the total booking cost. This policy ensures fairness to both our business and other clients who may have been denied booking due to the prior commitment of your requested dates. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
Large Transaction Policy
For stays exceeding $500 in total cost, we require a 50% deposit upfront and the remaining 50% to be paid upon completion of the service. This policy ensures a fair and secure arrangement for both parties involved. The initial deposit serves as a commitment from the client and helps us secure the necessary resources to accommodate the booking effectively. The remaining balance is settled at the conclusion of the service, providing peace of mind to our clients and allowing us to deliver exceptional care and attention throughout the entire duration of the stay.
